The CBD proper starts at the top of Davey Street — offices, retail and the waterfront apartments of central Hobart. POS systems, locked-out email, printers that won't print; most CBD visits land within a day or two, sometimes same-day.
Climbing toward kunanyi/Mt Wellington, South Hobart's timber cottages and brewery-adjacent streets are a short hop from Battery Point. Wi-Fi range in older weatherboards and the everyday family device jobs make up most visits up that way.
