Suburbs we cover

The corners of Hobart we know best.

From the CBD out to Howrah, north to Glenorchy and across to Lindisfarne — these are the ones we're in most weeks.

  • Hobart

From Salamanca to Murray Street, the offices, cafes and apartments of central Hobart are the heart of our week. Most CBD visits available within a day or two — POS gone offline, Outlook locked out, a printer that's decided not to print today. Sometimes we can fit in a same-day visit, depending on what's already booked.

  • Sandy Bay

South of the CBD, Sandy Bay's mix of older homes, students and waterfront apartments brings the full range of tech jobs our way — iCloud headaches, mesh Wi-Fi for sandstone walls, Mac help, and the occasional smart-home install around Lower Sandy Bay.

  • New Town

Just north of the CBD on the Brooker, New Town's older shopfronts and family homes are a steady part of our week. Plenty of small-business IT around the strip, and home-office computer repairs in the streets behind it.

  • Lenah Valley

Up the hill west of New Town, Lenah Valley's family homes need Wi-Fi that reaches every corner — single-router setups never quite manage. A two- or three-node mesh, placed properly, is what most of our visits up there end up doing.

  • Moonah

Between New Town and Glenorchy, Moonah's mix of housing, light industrial and small business along Main Road is well-trodden ground for us. Plenty of printer setups and small-office Wi-Fi here, alongside the everyday home calls.

  • Glenorchy

The northern hub of Greater Hobart — Glenorchy is one of our busiest catchments outside the CBD. A real spread of small-business IT support and family computer repairs, with a steady stream of work along the Main Road and out into the streets behind it.

  • Otago

Up the Derwent past Berriedale, Otago Bay's quieter waterfront homes and the streets behind them are a regular drop-in for Wi-Fi range, smart-home gear and the everyday device jobs. Easy to combine with a Claremont or Berriedale visit on the same trip.

  • Lindisfarne

Across the Tasman Bridge on the eastern shore, Lindisfarne's tight residential streets and waterside homes are easy to reach — we cross the bridge multiple times a week. Wi-Fi range, smart-home setups and the everyday family device jobs.

  • Rosny

Right at the eastern bridge landing, Rosny's a natural anchor for our eastern-shore visits — small business IT around the Park, and homes either side. Often the first stop on a multi-job day across the river.

  • Bellerive

Bellerive Boardwalk, the Oval, the village shops — Bellerive is a tight community on the eastern shore and one of our most regular eastern-shore stops. Wi-Fi range, family devices and small-business IT around the village all come our way.

  • Howrah

Family-heavy eastern shore, with Wi-Fi range and smart-home installs leading the list. We're across the bridge to Howrah several times a week — TVs, printers, the lot.

● What people say

Customer service and professionalism is something that is waning in this state & country. HeyTech has helped restore my faith that there still are decent people out there operating small businesses. Would highly recommend to all — very professional, patient, knowledgeable and kept me up to date at all times during our dealings. Thank you HeyTech.
