Up the Brooker Highway from town, Glenorchy is the working hub of Greater Hobart's north — a busy stretch of Main Road retail, allied health on Terry Street, MONA day-trippers heading further out, and family streets that climb up the hill from the Plaza. We come up here as much for an old POS that has stopped talking to the Wi-Fi as for a Mac at home. Most visits available within a day or two; sometimes same-day where we can fit it in. No call-out fee within 25 km of the CBD.

From the Plaza out to Claremont, with Moonah down the road and Berriedale up along the river — these are the streets we're in most weeks.
The northern hub itself — Glenorchy Plaza, the Main Road shops, Terry Street allied health, and family streets climbing the hill from the river. A real mix of small-business IT and home calls; the average week here looks like a printer that won't talk to the new modem, a slow desktop at the cafe, and a family with three Macs and one wonky Wi-Fi router. We're up here multiple times a week.
Just south of Glenorchy along Main Road, Moonah's a working stretch — light industrial, small offices, the bakery that's been around forever, and family homes in the streets behind. Plenty of small-business IT and printer-network jobs along the strip, alongside the everyday computer repairs and Wi-Fi calls in the side streets.
North along the river past MONA, Berriedale's a mix of newer estates and older waterfront homes. Wi-Fi for two-storey new-builds where the upstairs router never quite reaches the back deck, plus the occasional smart-home or TV install for the big family rooms looking out over the Derwent. An easy combine with a Claremont visit.
The far end of the Brooker before the Bridgewater stretch, Claremont's a steady catchment for us — family homes, retirees, and a handful of small businesses along the strip. Computer repairs, mesh Wi-Fi, the occasional new-printer setup. We're up that way most weeks; the trip from base is shorter than people think.
